Two years after the heart breaking record of the 84 drought that rocked Kenya,

two years after a period that allowed us to mock whoever so unlucky was to be born in such a time throughout our childhood,

two years, and there i was,

this rare slim gift that only a mother never mocks,

but sobs in happiness from the soft skinny good-hearted dude!

(can i hear Amen??)

that this mockery of character has made,

and all this happens seldom,

–oopppss, i should have said july!!

 

(By the way for those of you who know this month to be summer, its only fair to elaborate,

July is the coldest month in that particular land,

its so freezing cold that the temperatures drop close to 16°c and i don’t mean minus,

people around there don’t know anything about the minus sign,

its always plus,

i mean positive.

positive anything and everything

but the only fear is positive HIV.

that they prefer negative, so do you and i?? )

Didn’t we agree that happiness shall never be taken away from us?

didn’t we rebuke the cats and dogs that proverbially fell on us without warning?

so why not have a Tet-a-tet once in a while,

not so proud of gossip but i swear sometimes it helps…..
